Leprechaun, Leprechaun Where's your shamrock? 
The "leprechaun' sits with his eyes closed and a paper shamrock behind him. A child is chosen to tiptoe up and take the shamrock and return to his seat. Then all the children hide their hands in their pockets or behind their backs and recite "Leprechaun, Leprechaun, where's your shamrock? Someone has it in their pocket!" The leprechaun gets 3 guesses as to who has his shamrock. The person with the shamrock is the next leprechaun.
St. Patrick's Day Treasure Hunt
A couple days before St. Patrick's Day tell the children a leprechaun visited the classroom lost all his gold, he left his pot and a reward notice saying that if you find his gold and refill his pot by St. Pat's Day, he will leave a reward. Teacher has spray-painted items gold (feathers, plastic spoons, rocks,buttons, keys, etc.) and hidden them around the room. Each item the children find they place back in the pot  and receive a "lucky shamrock" sticker to place on their cubby. On St.Pats Day at recess or lunch hour the leprechaun returns and replaces items with a reward (shamrock shaped cookies, green drink, green napkins and plates, goodie bags for children). Younger grades will get a kick out of this one!
Hide the Shamrock
Cut a shamrock out of construction paper....Choose a player to be IT....While others cover their eyes, IT hides the shamrock within the classroom.... All players open eyes and try to find the shamrock. The finder gets to be IT next and is rewarded with a gold coin for his find .
Leprechaun Gold Game 

Spray paint macaroni with gold paint and then hide them in the rice/bean pot. With the children blindfolded have them reach in and grap a handful... The child then removes blindfold to see if he has stuck gold, being rewarded with a token gift or whatnot if he has. Toss the handful back into the pot and continue with the rest of the children. 
End of the Rainbow
This game is played like" Pin the Tail on the Donkey"...Make a large rainbow out of construction paper, place it on the wall of the classroom... Cut out several shamrocks or allow the students to decorate their own ... Line up children... blindfold the first one in line...  see
how close he can place his/her shamrocks nearest the end of the rainbow. Reward the winner with a goodie bag.
Shamrock/Gold Coin Bingo
This one needs no explanation and is always a winner with the children.
 
Guessing How Many Golden Coins
Place a precounted number of gold coins into a large jar. Have the children write down their
guesses... The child coming the nearest to actual number contained in jar without going over
takes home the jar.
Green Quiz
This one works better for the older children 3-6 grades.
Make up a list of Questions on items that contain or have "Green" in them.
Have the children answer the questions and see who has the most correct. Winner & runner-ups can take home a small prize.

                                     A waiting room in some theaters. 
                                    Used as the basis for standard time. 
                                   An apparent skill or talent for growing plants easily.
                                      Very jealous.
