Museum of Art
One of the worlds greatest art museums
sits on a 15 -acre park
called the FINE ARTS GARDEN
in University Circle. The
Museum opened in 1916 and houses 30,000
works
of art in 70 galleries. The Museum
offers scholarships
and special classes for children in
the area
that excel in art. In 3rd grade,
Lil Net won a scholarship
to the museum.

Cleveland
Natural History
If you are into Dinosaurs, Insects,
people, animals and precious gems
this is a must see museum. The
museum is a hands on type of museum,
it wants it's visitors to feel the
heat of a volcanic lava, the rumble of an
earthquake. Touch the rocks and formations.
On a clear evening you can get a close-up
view of the moon, stars,
planets and faraway galaxies through
the public observatory's telescope.
In 1974, one of the oldest fossil skeletons
of a human ancestor
was discovered in Africa by a curator
of Cleveland's Museum of Natural History.

Glenn Space Center
This Museum is West of Cleveland and
was opened in 1971.
It Houses 8 galleries covering over
8,000 square foot with the
newest gallery being the Aero Adventure
which will introduce you
the engines of tomorrow.

Lakes Science Center
This museum has 350 interactive exhibits
and is one of the
EIGHT largest hands-on science center
in the US, allowing visitors
to explore physical science, computer
technology, the environment
and much more.
The six story, silver dome of the museum
also houses the
Cleveland Clinic OMNIMAX theater. Take
a hair-raising trip
down white-water rapids or blast into
outer space. It uses the most
advanced sound system & film projection
in the the world!

Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame
The Rock and Roll Hall of fame Museum
looks like an
eight-story glass pyramid. It
was designed by I.M. Pei and
cost a whooping $92 million to build.
The exhibit hall is filled with colorful
costumes of rock's wildest
performers. While inside you
will enjoy spectacular views of the
surrounding North Coast Harbor.

Inventure
Place
This museum is located in the Akron
Ohio area and
is well worth the extra distance to
visit. It's a Inventor's
Hall of Fame which allows it's visitors
to explore their
creative ideas and to seek answers
to their curiosities
with one of their many hands on exhibits.
I took my nephews there a couple of
summers ago , they enjoyed
it so much I couldn't get them to leave.
I felt however, they need
to get some guides so the kids are
not using it as a playground but
rather a learning experience.
