Solon Ohio, has been my home since 1985 &
has been home to Net's family since 1949.
Solon is conveniently located in a south east suburb
of Cleveland, Ohio and is a 20 minute
drive to downtown Cleveland. Located with
easy access to all major freeways. It's home
to many corporate offices and even has a Stouffer Food's Thrift shop :)))))) .

There are 3 major shopping centers in the city but
there are no malls or major department stores (((((.  There is however, an Old Navy, Border Books & Bed Bath and Beyond that was added to the newest shopping center. The city tends to lean towards allowing little specialty stores within it's town limits therefore, many residents flock to local malls for their shopping needs.

Solon School is home of the Comets
& is quite competitive in all sports with numerous
awards and titles being won yearly. The school colors are blue, white & yellow. This was Lil Nets only school from first grade to graduation.  The school system
has a great foreign language department and is known
to score extremely well on national testing of all sorts.

Solon, finally has come to the computer age and joined
the world wide web with links for local residents to
council persons, city government offices &  the Mayors office. The site is still under construction ...
At least, I hope it isn't complete as it is not very user friendly. The resolution is set to view at 1024 X 768 rather then the what has become the  standard for most users which is 800X600.
Also, they don't even have a LINK for Nettie's Place! (Laughing)
so you know it can't be any good. (just kidding)

Solon has two local newspapers available to it's residents. I personally subscribe to and recommend the Solon Times over the Sun Newspaper however, as of July 7th the site is still under construction for this newspaper.

town and the only one is the PLAIN DEALER.
