OK, this project was NOT my
idea nor did it turn out to be
as easy as it sounded. This project truly
did turn
out to be a labor of love.
I Got the "BIG" V (inside family
joke) placed on me by my mother.
Mom works at a large bank in the area
and they as part
of their charitable deeds have a
DRESS-A-BEAR
contest every year. The bears are
supplied by them
and you just outfit them as you choose
or per selected
categories.
The bears are then collected from all departments,
branches, etc.
judged with prizes awarded to the top
3 and then displayed
downtown in their windows for a month
around the holidays, after
which they are then donated to various
needy children organizations.
So both sis and I were VOLUNTEERED
to make one by
dear Ole' Mom. Guess what mom made?
You guessed it not a darn thing.
Anyhow, I got lucky and took third place
out of 600 plus hand crafted bears.
