SEA
WORLD/Six Flags World
UPDATE July 2001
This park was sold to Six Flags in
the winter of 2000. It is now known as and is part of Six Flags World.
As part of the selling
agreement the dolphins and Shamau were
returned to Fla.
My mother & some other relatives
have been to the new park and claim other then a few shows & attractions
missing there
is little or no changes to the park
itself.
They still have the Batman water show
and many of the
shows from previous years.
It is advisable to wear GOOD walking
shoes if planning
on visiting. Both parks are now
one
and as of this writing the ferry boat
to take you across
the lake is not in operation therefore,
it's a lot of walking from water marina
park and the
Six Flag rides.
The cost of admissions is a whopping
38.00+ but does
include both parks for the day.
If you are looking for cheaper tickets
and are a
member of AAA auto club there is
on located on RT. 91 & Solon Road.
(If coming from
the West 422 to 91) this will be a
left
at the first light and a right
into their parking lot). You
can then easily get back on RT91 and
follow the route to
Six Flags World. They have discount
tickets avail.
If you are searching on a map
the AAA will be located
in Solon Ohio 44139.
Located in Aurora Ohio it's just a short
drive from Cleveland & next door to the new Six Flags Park (listed
Below).
SIX FLAGS
Formerly known as "Geauga Lake Park"
until the 2000 season,
the park is full of growing pains both
for the cities, in the nearby area
and the park. Weather you like
wet or dry fun, Six Flags has more then 110 attractions for your enjoyment.
The 70 acre lake on the parks premises
was created when
a glacier scraped out a deep hole in
the landscape.
BE PREPARED TO STAND IN LONG LINES for
their MAJOR ATTRACTIONS!!!
If you are in line when the ride opens
expect 1 hr. min wait!
! I am told you can spend 3-4
hrs waiting in one line.
07--05-01 It seems the park
is now offering a special FAST LANE pass for an additional 10.00 per day
per person. The pass is sold to 500 persons only per day.
This pass entitles the bearers to bypass
the line of up to 5
major attractions for the day while
others paying
38.00 a head wait for hours. This is
being challenged
and looks like it is headed for the
courts.
Pack a picnic and take a lunch, picnic
pavilions are
available on a first come first serve
basis and are
located outside the main gates,
& don't forget to pack some water
as the park
charges a WHOOPING $2.75
for a 16 oz bottle!

If you have any other questions you
would like to]
know about this park that I have not
answered here email me
and I will do what I can to answer
them.
CLEVELAND
METRO ZOO
The zoo is broken into several areas
. The African Plains area houses
one of the largest herds of Masai giraffes
in the country.
then there is Monkey Island, Northern
Trek & Wolf wilderness.
It's a great zoo, it also houses the
RAIN FOREST exhibit.

CUYAHOGA VALLEY
This is a Train ride that begins in
Independence,
a suburb of Cleveland and you have
your choice of a couple of different routes you can take. I suggest you
do the Peninsula Adventure one where you can stop off at
village shops and cafes in the historic
village
of Peninsula. If you prefer to
see wildlife and parks opt
for the Valley Explorer route.
Either one you are sure to enjoy!
