Family ties are precious things,
woven through the years.
Of memories, of togetherness,
of laughter, love, and tears.

Family ties are treasured things,
and far though we may roam...
the tender bonds with those we love,
still pull our hearts toward home.

Although, my grandparents are no longer
with me the memories of them will always live on. I was
fortunate enough to spend many years with them.

This is my Grandpa (Mom's father) who passed away two days after my graduation
from high school.

This is Granny (Mom's mom) She couldn't cook. Don't worry I haven't posted any of her recipes. *g*
 She passed on in 1992

These are Both my Mom's Parents.

This is my Dad and His Father's Mother at least that's what they tell me.
Her name was Grandma Woods, first name unknown.
I never knew this grandma.
Dad was a Long Distance Truck Driver and died unexpectedly just months
short of retiring in a trucking accident.

This is my other Grandma (my Dad's mother). Picture was taken on
my parents wedding Day in 1956. She is pictured with my mother.
I was fortunate to know her. She lived with us for several years while
I was growing up. She was mean to me, beat me with her cane all the time *grin*
I won't of course till you what we did to deserve it! LOL

This is MOM with her Wonderful Kids. Doesn't take
much to make her happy. She's all excited about her
Surprise "60th" Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese !!!

Mom has been both Mother and Father to us since I was 11.

This Picture of my Mom was taken on a recent visit to see little Net.
