As you can see from the examples below,
I'm a fanatic to taking all parties I throw
down to the very last detail.  Although,
planning a party is very much fun for me
I tend to take months planning, cooking. preparing
& executing such.  The results have always proved
worth the effort as most remember one thing or
another about them for years to come & I'm often
called on to help them plan parties or to just give advice .

Pictured above is an invitation I made up for one of Net's parties.  I originally got the layout idea from seeing those ads in the
magazines back in the 70's where you
could choose from a page of gifts for your choice of prize.

I decided to choose 50 of Net's favorites or gag gifts to
give party goers an idea of the endless possibilities of gifts.

More about the party theme
People were told to come prepared to "ROAST"  Net!

For decorations I had pictures of Net's earlier years
blown up to poster size and hung them on walls.
I setup a podium for roasting Net and guest one by one as
they presented him with their gift selected from one of two bins.
In one bin I had nice roast jokes/toast  for them to use  and in the
other pail I had placed burn jokes about Net.  Most party
goers choose from the burn joke pail although, the ones
in the nice pail weren't exactly nice. *grin*

I also, prepared games consisting of trivia from his year of birth
and stuck them to guest backs on arrival, each one pertained to a
... person place event etc..Persons were encouraged to mingle and attempt to find out what they were by asking questions to other guest.
The first person to guess whom or what he was won.
This in itself made for a GREAT fun icebreaker.

The entire event was taped for later remembrance.

Below are some pictures  from Lil Net's high school graduation party.

Each table in the rented hall were decorated with tablecloths
matching school colors, then given a theme like displayed below. Tables displayed awards from K-12 or others  were specialty tables such as  MUSIC, ART, AWARDS etc...
after which I then covered each table with clear vinyl.

This had people hopping from one table to the next to view her accomplishments.

The cake was a strawberry whipped cream 1/2 white & 1/2 chocolate
and designed by me to look like a book with a special poem .
All desserts which I made were color coordinated to again,
match her school colors.

The dance  stage was setup with all of LIL' Net's ART displayed.

The money box displayed on the table to the bottom right of the
picture was created by me and had one picture from each year

birth to graduation attached to it. Placed next to this on the table,
her diploma and special awards were displayed.
